Serve up cashews with a kick!

Gearing up for the holidays or a big party like the Super Bowl or the Oscars? Need a quick and tasty snack to serve your guests? Well, look no further! These spicy cashews have a kick, and they’re an excellent source of healthy fats (monounsaturated fats–also found in olive oil–decrease the risk of heart disease) and antioxidants (which can reduce the risk of cancer). Most importantly, your guests will love the taste! Feel free to improvise, adjust spices…be creative…and enjoy!

 

  • 1 cup of cashews, unsalted
  • 1-2 teaspoons of olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • dash of chili (cayenne) powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powd
  • dash of garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1. Place cashews in a medium-sized bowl.
2. Drizzle with olive oil.
3. Add spices.
4. Add cover to bowl, and mix well.
